On weeks that a holiday falls on a Monday or midweek, school will be in session on the following Friday. Snow days will also be made up on the following Friday, whenever possible, or at the end of the year, for the required minimum amount of 875 instructional hours. Normal school hours are from 7:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tentative graduation date will be scheduled for the last weekend before the end of the school year.
Central Maine Christian Academy is an independent, nondenominational school. CMCA’s educational philosophy is to help students learn more about themselves and God’s created world. This is done by providing opportunities for students to confess Christ as Lord and Savior and by helping students develop a Christian worldview by integrating life and all studies with the Bible. Curriculum includes: ABeka, ACSI, Bob Jones, Positive Action for Christ, etc.
